    Paths to Professions

    Free Online Workshops for AAPI Youth

    What do you want to be when you grow up
    and how do you get there?

    Path to Professions is a youth mentorship program designed to help AAPI high school and college students:

    • Explore careers across many industries
    • Learn directly from real professionals
    • Gain the skills and confidence to achieve their career goals

    All workshops are online via Zoom and free to attend with registration.Upcoming Workshop

    Need Help Choosing the Right College?

    What to Expect:

    • Hear from an area high school counselor.
    • Learn the ins-outs of college choices, applications, timing, and all the big questions as you navigate what to do after high school.
    • Other college grads will be on hand to give their experiences in choosing a college.

      Registration:

      • Free admission but registration required.
      • When you register, you'll be required to answer a few questions.

      Job Sector Workshops

      • Meet AAPI professionals from different industries
      • Learn about their career paths and challenges
      • Ask, “What is it like to be AAPI in this field?”

      • Practical sessions on topics like:
      • Resume writing
      • Interviewing skills
      • College organization and planning
      • And more!

      The Asian American Pacific Islander Coalition of North Bay (AAPIC) is holding its first ever pan-Asian Pacific Islander festival on October 4, 2025. A one-day “Many Moons Festival” at Ives Park in Sebastopol, will highlight the myriad AAPI cultures who live in our area.


      AAPI Cultural Celebration

      Our festival will highlighting different Asian and Pacific Islander traditions, plus handmade crafts, arts, wine, beer, sake and soju, and lots of incredible food. Live music, other entertainment, and a lantern-lighting ceremony at dusk will make this an event not to be missed, bringing together the community for an unforgettable celebration of heritage and unity.

      How You Can Participate in the Festival
