You are invited to a Lion Dancing & Drumming Workshop presented in collaboration with Redwood Empire Chinese Association (RECA).
The Chinese lion dance is a traditional performance where two dancers mimic a lion's movements, dancing to drums, cymbals, and gongs to bring good fortune, performed during Chinese New Year and other celebrations and festival. This is a great opportunity for young people to learn this very colorful and energetic traditional Chinese art form.
