Lanterns & Vines is the inaugural gala of the Asian American Pacific Island Coalition (AAPIC) North Bay—a one-night celebration reimagining the beloved Night Market as an elevated, immersive experience featuring AAPI food, wine, culture, and community.

More than a fundraiser, Lanterns & Vines is a curated gathering designed to spotlight AAPI excellence, creativity, and leadership—bringing together chefs, vintners, artists, youth, and community members from across the North Bay and beyond.

The Experience

Imagine an evening filled with glowing lanterns and beautifully lit market stalls, where guests wander, taste, and connect.

Each attendee will receive tasting tokens to explore distinct food + wine pairings across the market—each stall featuring a thoughtfully prepared AAPI dish paired with a premium wine from an AAPI vintner.

The night will also include:

• • An elevated Night Market atmosphere

  • ️ Small-plate tastings from AAPI culinary partners

  • Curated wine pairings by AAPI vintners

  • A red envelope wall and interactive cultural elements

  • Music, dancing, and celebration

  • Night market–style games led by our Next Gen youth leaders

This is a Sonoma County experience unlike any other - rooted in tradition, elevated in presentation, and centered on community joy.
