Become a Member

AAPIC North Bay membership is open to residents of any of the four North Bay counties of the San Francisco Bay who support the interest of the AAPI community. As a paying member in good standing, one can vote on decisions regarding the direction of the organization, nominate individuals to be Officers and Board of Directors, and run for election to the Board of Directors to represent the multi-diverse ethnicity of the AAPI community.

Volunteer

AAPIC North Bay is an all-volunteer-run community-based organization. Volunteers are what keeps AAPIC running to carry out its mission–to celebrate culture, empower community, and promote positive change for our AAPI community. There are lots of volunteer opportunities to suit your interest, experience, time, and talent. Do you love networking, a social media enthusiast, or an organizer at heart? Or are you the artsy type who loves graphic design or taking photographs? Do you have experience as a grant writer, or writing in general? We have something interesting for you to be involved in.

  • Join our Tabling Teamatevents to spread the news about AAPIC.
  • Help us network with the many AAPI community groups in the area.
  • Help organize AAPIC’s next community events in November!
  • Join our Grant Writing Team to raise funds for AAPIC.
  • Join our Communications Team to map out a strategy for AAPIC going forward.
  • Be a part of our Social Media Team and keep AAPIC in the social media sphere.
  • Join our Writing Team help to interview and write articles to highlight local members of the AAPI community for our blogs and newsletter.
  • Join our Newsletter Editorial Team to make the AAPIC newsletter the best that it can be!
  • Join our Design Team to help design and format our newsletters and event flyers.
  • Or join our Photography Team to document the colorful AAPI events in the area and share on our website and social media.
