AAPIC takes particular interest in this event because Lisa Lim, an Asian American and AAPIC's Life Member, is on the panel. She served for 3 years from 2010-2013 during the Afghanistan war. Originally from Malaysia, she is petite, speaks multiple languages, and plays the harp. You'd want to meet with her and hear her story.
