Understanding Migration, Mass Incarceration, and Trauma

November 16, 2023 @ 12:00 pm

APSC4

A Public Session with Asian Prisoner Support Committee

Thursday, November 16, 2023, 12-1 pm
Dominican University of California, Creekside Room
(next to Caleruega Dining Hall)

If formerly incarcerated leaders like the APSC4 of the Asian Prisoner Support Committee are the heart of liberatory movements—their compassion and resilience inspire us all to create change in our communities.

Please join us in learning about human rights issues and related trauma through the lens of the APSC4, their personal experiences, and their vast knowledge of the systems that have impacted them and so many others. Through their call for solidarity, APSC4 leaders remind us that today’s pressing issues of migration, incarceration, and trauma affect all BIPOC communities and their families.

This event is co-sponsored by Asian American Alliance of Marin, and Dominican University of California Center for Community Engagement, and is part of United Against Hate Week events.  Please bring your lunch to Creekside and join us for this important conversation.
