Whether you are of Asian and Pacific Islander descent or an ally, this gathering is open to all who want to learn, listen, and stand in solidarity with the AAPI community. We will have engaging discussions, friendly conversations, and delicious food to enjoy.

Program

• The MOST DELICIOUS and WONDERFUL Asian comfort food brunch starting at 9 a.m. sharp. Don’t be late!
• AAPIC Annual Report – to learn about what AAPIC has done since its inception 2 years ago,
• Election of AAPIC Board of Directors,
• Keynote Welcome from Dr. Mike (Ming-Tung) Lee, President of Sonoma State University,
• Sonoma County Youth Poet Laureate Ella Wen presents her poem written especially for this occasion,
• Presentation of the state of the AAPI community in Sonoma County address,
• Participation in “Talk Story” – to gather first-hand data of folks’ opinions on AAPI issues in Sonoma County for data gathering, networking, relationship-building, and seeking a common purpose.
