AAPI Coalition includes people from 52 countries and territories in Asia and the Pacific Islands. People from Fiji, the archipelago of more than 330 islands, are a distinctive and sizable community here in Sonoma County.

Fijian women are well known for providing very valuable services as in-home home-care aids. They have grit and tenacity. While they live and work here among us in California, they also want to stand up and make changes back home in Fiji.

The Fijian women in the Santa Rosa First United Methodist Church are standing up and leading the charge to raise funds for the #FijiCWMAid to purchase vital supplies for the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Fiji, including and not limited to, bedding materials, towels, and assistive devices such as wheelchairs and walkers, etc.
