Free Information Session on Running for Local School Board

In advance of the November 5 election, the Sonoma County Office of Education will host a free information session on Thursday, June 27, from 5:30 pm to 7 pm for any community members interested in running for their local school boards.
Attendees will learn firsthand what it is like to serve on a school board from a panel of current board members who span the county and possess a spectrum of insight. In addition to the panel discussion, audience members will have an opportunity to hear from the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters about important candidate deadlines and requirements. Light refreshments will be available.
